What is a pop-up comedy club?
Glad you asked! It's a concept we came up with to define how we are choosing to partner with other local businesses to provide the venues for our shows. Just because there isn't a dedicated comedy club in Knoxville doesn't mean you can't get the same comedy club vibe at our shows.
Why The Comedy Sphere?
We wanted something that represented Knoxville (see the microphone in our logo) while also representing how we view the Knoxville comedy community. Our sphere of influence includes comedians, show runners, venues, social clubs, and our faithful fans.
Who do you partner with in town?
Our list is too long to type out here, but we can give you some of our favorites! We partner with venues like The Pink Cactus, Walnut Springs Winery, Central Cinema, and Scruffy City Hall. What types of shows can we expect at Comedy Sphere events?
Our heart and soul belong to stand-up comedy. However, we also appreciate blending different elements with stand-up. One of our most popular shows is Love at First Laugh. This is a dating show hosted by local stand-up comedians that will have you in stitches by the end of the night. We also have a monthly recurring stand-up, poetry, and music showcase. These are just a couple examples of our extensive portfolio, come check one out!
Who is Yellow Door Media?
Yellow Door Media is the parent company to The Comedy Sphere. YDM was our first production company and stands as our center for our business ventures.
